I absolutely love your mission at GX Foundry. As regular readers of my Good Government Files substack know, restoring trust in government is a passion project of mine. And I wholeheartedly agree that getting our digital houses in order will pay huge dividends. I'll be listening in as you work out loud this year!
Thank you Will! Fixing the trust problem is one that needs lots of people pulling for solutions everywhere. So I'm a fan of your work as well! I wish more government entities would work out loud and talk about what they are doing. But we're probably going to need storytellers out there like yourself to point to good examples, too.
What you guys are doing at GX Foundry, working out loud, is also known as Fish Bowl Planning and is a great way to build credibility. I applaud your willingness to step out there and be so transparent. Stick with it, because it will get hard at times -- when you make a misstep or a vendor doesn't deliver as promised or something else doesn't work out the way you thought it would (i.e. life happens!) -- but the payoff will absolutely be worth it!
